Homewood Suites by Hilton Oxnard/Camarillo

Stayed only one night and arrived later in the evening, but our experience was good. The room was spacious and clean. It was stocked with all the essentials needed, toiletries, dish soap, etc. Pretty good night sleep, there were no disturbances during the night but the mattress and pillows were too soft.

A friend of mine invited me to have dinner with him at the hotel one night. It was excellent. It was very impressed.

Hospitality at its finest! I am wrapping up a two week day, and I have been very impressed with the number of staff and the attitudes of everyone involved. Last month I stayed at a different Homewood suites in Reno. That place was terrible, with a minimum skeleton crew, and complete lack of hospitality. This location is 1000 times better, and I will definitely be back. Thank you guys for making it a great visit, with great breakfasts, great service, and staff that is truly ready to go above and beyond if needed.

The Homewood Suites in Oxnard is an amazing choice whether you are traveling solo or with your family. It is located right off US-101 and is conveniently located between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles and is in very close proximity to numerous restaurants and stores, including Costco. The suites are roomy and airy with high ceilings and plenty of bright lighting and large windows - the ceiling fan with the wall mounted speed control was a godsend! The seating areas are all very plush and roomy, and the living areas and kitchenettes are well equipped and perfectly sized. No matter which suite you go with at this property, you will be extremely comfortable and feel right at home as it is ergonomically equipped with anything you could ever want or need! I would absolutely recommend the Homewood Suites to Oxnard to anybody who is traveling to LA, especially those with family!

Room and staff are excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. My room had a kitchenette, living room area, desk, as well as expected bed and bathroom. Spacious and great. Should probably stress that the kitchen has a kitchen table, full size fridge, and small stove top, and dishwasher. Common areas are a bit dated. Hallway and lobby carpet very 1970s. Elevators are a bit sketchy--slow and disturbing noises. Front lobby doors sometimes open, sometimes eventually open, or open on their own. Breakfast was also perfect and included. Overall nice place to stay. But could use some updating in common areas. But quality of the room brought it up.

Decor is dated, but the rooms are VERY spacious with full kitchens, bathtubs with Jacuzzi jets, sofa bed in the living area, balconies overlooking the pool. Was very comfortable and had more than enough space for our family of 5. My kids wished we were staying there longer. Accidentally double booked a reservation, and despite booking through third parties, and a snafu where the third party website didn't contact the property in a reasonable amount of time, the hotel manager was very kind and honored the cancellation with a full refund of the duplicate booking - and I'm very grateful for that. (The 2 queens+King suite can probably sleep 8 if there are kids in your party.) We met family at Herzog winery for a wine tasting and dinner at Tierra Sur, and we all stayed overnight here afterwards, very close by. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

This is a nice quiet hotel with nice suites that is in very good condition. It gets great ratings and it's very obviously why. I will make this my go to in Oxnard.

My family and I stayed for 6 nights, have to say everything was beyond extraordinary! Housekeeping was always on time, had extra towels, kind and polite. Front desk staff was client focused, outstanding customer service! Pool was clean and hot tub was perfect! The room was great, bed was so comfy I slept like a rock! Having the kitchenette was great, didn't have to eat at a restaurant every single meal. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Only thing I'd ask for would be a gluten free option for bread, bagel or muffin(2 of the kids have celiac) but they had eggs, oatmeal, fruits and yogurt. They were happy with cereal and fruit, so no biggie! Thanks for the great visit! If we come back to Oxnard, we know where to stay!
